Topping-out ceremony at the Specialist Centre at Diakonie Hospital
BAD KREUZNACH. With many good wishes and a ritual toast, Schneider-Bau construction foreman Hagen Hieronimus held the traditional topping-out speech for the Specialist Centre at Diakonie Hospital Bad Kreuznach.
Works on the basic structure are already completed. Interior fittings as well as plaster, electrical and roofing works are well under way. Heating, plumbing and ventilation experts are also working at full steam, as guests of the ceremony were able to see at first hand during an on-site tour of the construction.
Dr. Adrian Staab, specialist for radiotherapy, will open the doors of his radiotherapeutic practice rooms as early as January 2017. Staab is pleased with the progress: “This topping-off ceremony marks a major cornerstone in the process of building the new Specialist Centre for Radiotherapy. The basic structure is now complete, interior construction is progressing quickly and the outline of the consulting rooms is already visible.” Early this year, he started to provide radiotherapeutic treatment for patients in the Bad Kreuznach area. Now, Staab is looking forward to move into the new premises: “There, at my own practice rooms, I once again will be able to offer radiotherapy with a state-of-the-art linear accelerator.”
Staab is one of the first users of this ultra-modern technology that allows for an especially gentle, effective and precise therapeutic treatment of tumors and inflammatory joint diseases. Dr. Staab’s Centre for Radiotherapy, in close cooperation with Diakonie Hospital, will provide the best possible radiotherapeutic care for both public health and private patients in Bad Kreuznach.
